We have launched a petition calling on Lake Macquarie Council to make this long overdue shared path link a priority.
The path would connect our region’s largest suburb to our beloved Fernleigh Track, providing a much safer link than the busy Dudley Road.
We want to see the shared path:
- Connect directly with the Fernleigh Track at Whitebridge, via Whitebridge High School
- Provide an active transport connection to Charlestown Pool
- Have secure bike parking to serve Charlestown Square and other businesses in the area
